"As a family we hired this wonderful cottage for a 60th birthday celebration."
It is clean, spacious and very well equipped as well as pleasantly, rurally located. The lay out of the cottage is ideal, fantastic kitchen dining area with everything you could wish for, two perfect bathrooms. A cosy living room with a wood burner, plenty of seating enabled us all to sit, chat and relax. All of the bedrooms and their decor/layout/facilities were perfect for us; the only thing thing that bothered us during our stay were the single mattresses in the twin room. They weren’t as comfy as the other mattresses which affected our sleep quality. We had a fantastic weekend, would recommend this property. We would love to stay here again for a family trip away. Thank you very much.

"Very homely, spacious property we are a multi-generation family & was perfect for our needs, maybe description should mention steep stone steps to access the property & internally."

"A very well appointed property; spacious and comfortable."
A little isolated, and accessed by mainly single-track roads, but to some that's an advantage/attraction! Good communication with owners. All in all, I would highly recommend this property and will most definitely be considering using it again in the future.

"We really enjoyed staying at covercote except that there was no key in the downstairs wc and it would be really helpful if there were more instructions on how you would like the house kept."
otherwise, lovely spacious house, great location and gorgeous scenery that was much enjoyed!

"It was our second stay at this property."
Wonderful location for our walking group with plenty of space in the rooms. A piano was a bonus especially when 3 of our members can play! Strange that the owner appeared on the day before we were to leave though!! Perhaps a mistake from the bookings department as we had our paperwork confirming our dates.

"I hired this beautiful cottage for my 30th Birthday getaway with close friends."
The location is gorgeous with plenty of accessible hiking routes and wonderful views. The cottage itself is spacious, comfortable and warm with all the expected amenities. There is even a traditional pub just across the road which my friends and I paid a short visit to and had a good game of darts! My only recommendations would be that the cottage did not have any oven gloves (or at least not any we could find) so it would be helpful if these were made available.

"Excellent facilities for our walking group."
Perhaps a lock on the utility room door as there is a toilet there please. Work tops in the kitchen were very sticky....Perhaps it the wood? Everything regarding to pans dishes etc was fabulous!

"We loved the property."
It was as described but we were pleasantly surprised by its beauty when we arrived. It was super clean and we had everything we needed. A well stocked kitchen, towels, games and so much space. The garden was fantastic for the children but with 2 dogs we thought we would recommend a gate at the side of property and some secure fencing at the back of the property (our little dachshund excitedly kept going into next doors garden through the fencing gaps). But we loved it and wished we had booked for longer.

"We found the cottage to be very nice and in a lovely position with lovely views all around it, the garden was nice too."
Facilities inside were ok, apart from the kitchen worktops, which were very sticky, you couldn't put any packets or cardboard or small packets of food onto worktops as everything stuck to it and then when you picked them up again it left the paper stuck on the worktop, which was annoying and therefore we didn't put any food down on the worktop. The induction hob was very difficult to get working, took quite a while to get one ring on.
