Excellent apartment and facilities, just a couple of minutes walk from all village amenities Had a small issue in apartment Lucas sorted it out immediately via his Grandfather Thank you for a wonderful stay

  • "Good view down Main Street."

Easy access of shops etc. More importantly, single beds in back, quiet bedroom so soft with open springs that they are unusable. Front bedroom has traffic noise especially early in mornings. Flat was dirty, especially in kitchen, with very dirty oven and grill-pan. We were provided with tea-towels, which were stained and grubbby. Only one medium saucepan. The other does not work on hob. Rest fit for 10 people. No Pyrex dishes, no baking-trays. Freezer very iced up

  • "Lovely property let down by lack of cooking utensils and no heated towel rail in the bathroom."

Would have also liked tv channels as only BBC was available. With these things remedied we would love to stay again. Thank you I

  • "We loved our stay, location was great, the view down the high street was excellent!"

The place had everything you needed and was of a good quality! Things people should be aware of is the main bedroom is only feet away from the road and although there were shutters at the window you could hear traffic, this didn’t worry us, but might be worth taking ear plugs if you are a light sleeper! The roadside parking was always ok! And if we were back in the area would book again!

Hi there, We are very glad that you enjoyed your stay and that you would book again. Regarding the traffic: we have also stayed at 1 Chews Cottage and all together we can say that around 1 or 2 cars go past after 8 pm, so we have always had a very good nights sleep when staying there without ear plugs. None of our other guests have mentioned noise problems either. Additionally I would like to point out the benefit of being 2 minutes to the high-street but with an amazing view. Nevertheless, thank you very much for your feedback and we would be very happy to welcome you again sometime. Best, The Chews Cottage-Team Property Owner
