It is in the town center & a few minutes walk to most shops & all the amenities. The piano was also a bonus for those fortunate enough to play, which I was Hopefully will return again for a longer stay.

On saying that plenty on offer in Ripon and good places to eat, we really enjoyed our time at the cottage.

  • "A lovely little cottage, in the very centre of Ripon but so tucked away that it is very quiet and private."

nicely furnished in an individual style. I can thoroughly recommend it. The only drawback is the lack of parking outside although it is easy enough to find spaces in neighbouring streets.

We’re really glad you were able to come back for another stay and enjoy time in Ripon. Property Owner

  • "A delightful cottage, peaceful yet very central to all the local amenities."

Well appointed with thoughtful touches and cosy. A property I would definitely consider returning to. Slight downside is the non-availability of immediate parking but I always found spaces in Church Lane.

  • "This Cottage feels like home from the very first moment."

It has all the little touches of a home rather than a commercial enterprise. For instance there is adequate lighting, the kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you would expect at home and the decor is personal and individual. The situation is ideal, secluded and quiet, yet in the very middle of town and unexpectedly there is a lovely little garden to sit out in. I have had one of the best Sykes holidays in all my years of booking Cottages and very much hope to return.

  • "Lovely, quirky pieds a terre in a quiet location very close to the town centre and an easy walk from the bus station."

The cottage had absolutely everything one could need. The kitchen had such a good array of utensils that if I'd been so inclined, I could have cooked a four-course meal! The bed was very comfortable -so important after busy days enjoying oneself. The sweet little garden space was a boon. Handwritten notes meant I felt a real connection to Anna and Naomi who respectively own and run the cottage. This is the only place I've ever stayed with a piano - though, fortunately for the neighbours, I can't play.

  • "Lovely location."

Hidden away behind the shops in town. Loads eateries on the doorstep. Parking was no problem even though no parking at property. Free parking on the town square from 18;00 until 08:00. We will go back there.

Great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

  • "Bijoux property surprisingly quiet."

South facing sitting area. A few minutes walk from centre with numerous restaurants/pubs to choose from. Parking was a concern but should not deter. Free/24 Hr Blossomgate (despite so few spaces and poor reviews) provided space when we needed, with some additional chances in adjoining roads. In extremis cathedral car park allows leave and return so an all day ticket covers flexibly. Small but good Thursday market. Thoroughly recommend.
