Reviews

1 Customer Review

  • "The property is very comfortable and has everything that you need in the kitchen, however the cooker hood doesn’t work and we thought that having an outside light that could come on as you get up to the house in an evening would be great as we walked into Hathersage in the evenings ."

But having the night lights was a good idea for using the bathroom at night .

About the location

HATHERSAGE

Castleton 5 miles; Curbar 5 miles.

The attractive village of Hathersage (‘Heathers Edge’) is situated within the Peak District National Park at the beginning of the Hope Valley and close to excellent walking at Edale. Many visitors come to Hathersage to visit the churchyard and the grave of “Little John” (of Robin Hood fame) - whether he ever really existed is for you to decide! Charlotte Bronte’s famous novel Jane Eyre is thought to have been inspired by her visit to Hathersage vicarage in 1845. For a village of its size there is a very good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat, as well as a public, open air heated swimming pool and railway station. A great centre for exploring the Peak District!
