  • "The lodge itself was lovely and we had a grwat stay, there are little areas which need some attention such as the decor or furnishing such as the beds in one of the twin rooms was very stained and visable, cutlery was enough for tge four of us but any noee thwn that there would not have been enough such as teaspoons and bowls."

    The sofas were extremely comfortable as was the the double bed in the master bedroom. My parents found that the mattresses in the twin rooms were a little uncomfortable and may need replacing as they could feel the springs. These are only minor issues and didnt spoil our stay at all the lodge is in a fab location and we would happily stay again

Chudleigh is an ancient wool town resting in the Teignbridge District area of Devon, with plenty of history and scenic sights to explore at any time of year. The town has history dating back to the Saxon times, with many place names from this time still being seen today, as well as historic wonders such as caves at Rock, as well as an Iron Age hillfort overlooking the town. Chudleigh also hosts a good range of amenities, including two pubs, an English restaurant, convenience stores, quaint shops, and much more to assist on a self-catered stay. The Teign Valley is a dramatically steep wooded valley to the Eastern flank of Dartmoor National Park between the villages of Dunsford in the North and Chudleigh to the South.
