Exactly what I wanted from a forest holiday

We also took our dog and found it very difficult to avoid getting him covered in mud etc. there was nowhere we could clean him off as asked not to use the showers etc. disappointing as it's one off the reasons we stayed as we could bring him

Venture further out and enjoy gentle walks through bluebell meadows, crystal-clear streams and pretty villages, or you might spot Roe Deer grazing in glades near your cabin. Nestled among beech trees in a secluded corner, Blackwood Forest is a tranquil haven just an hour away from London. Surrounded by rolling Hampshire hills and within lush, green forest, if you stay quiet then you might spot roe deer grazing in a glade. Venture out into the forest and enjoy glorious walks through bluebell meadows and pretty villages. Hampshire offers glorious walking and hiking opportunities with breath-taking views, pretty villages and ancient landmarks. The predominantly chalkland downs give rise to crystal clear streams and rivers as well as rare species of wildlife, making walks a true joy.
