Exactly what I wanted from a forest holiday

"While we enjoyed our stay, I feel the pathways were very poor with lots off puddles."
We also took our dog and found it very difficult to avoid getting him covered in mud etc. there was nowhere we could clean him off as asked not to use the showers etc. disappointing as it's one off the reasons we stayed as we could bring him

Venture further out and enjoy gentle walks through bluebell meadows, crystal-clear streams and pretty villages, or you might spot Roe Deer grazing in glades near your cabin.
