Experience a one-of-a-kind break with all the comforts of home, easy dining options and activities and extras that will make it an unforgettable holiday in nature.
Escape into a corner of calm in the forest, with muted shades of slate blue and soft grey complemented by weathered oak furniture and floor-to-ceiling views, in a cabin built to sit sensitively within the woodland. A great choice for group getaways and families, the Silver Birch has everything you need for your self-catering break, with high-spec fittings, botanical inspired accents, fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor hot tub overlooking the trees.
This beautiful lochside location captures the true spirit of Scotland.
Nicknamed ‘the gateway to the highlands’, Strathyre is surrounded by forest, mountains and panoramic views. On the edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, glimpse views of Loch Lubnaig (perfect for canoeing) or nestle into a forest glade and look out for Pine Martens and Red deer as you tackle mountainside hikes and wild woodland trails. Enjoy days out to Blair Drummond Safari Park and Stirling Castle, or hire bikes and jump on the National Cycling Route 7 and Glen Finglas Loop – then stop off at Callander’s best pubs and restaurants.
In the forest, book a range of Forest Ranger activities that will help you connect with nature and the forest around you – from Nature Tots for under-5s, to Wildlife Wonders and Survival Skills, for any age.
When you book a Forest Holiday you're supporting nature too – they're stewards of 244.5 hectares of forest, managing the land for conservation and creating spaces in nature for people to stay.

STRATHYRE, BEN LEDI
Nicknamed ‘the gateway to the highlands’ and surrounded by forest, mountains and panoramic views, this spot captures the true spirit of Scotland. On the edge of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, it's a perfect spot for canoeing. Look out for pine martens and red deer as you tackle hikes on woodland trails. Strathyre is in Scotland’s walking country and the clean mountain air is matched by stunning landscape views. Pick up the Rob Roy Way for some enjoyable lochside walks or head up to the Lodge Forest Visitor Centre to explore the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Nearby Callander is most closely associated with the Rob Roy legend. Shop for souvenirs on the busy high street before escaping to the banks of the River Teith for a peaceful picnic.
