  • "Having been to alot of forest holidays we felt that there had been significant cut backs."

We were dissapointed that you do not provide toilettries anymore. Having always had these in the cabin, I did not take any, although reading the information I realise that you told us to take it. There were no expresso pods for the coffee machine or a starter pack for the fire. These had always been provided in the past.

  • "I really enjoy all the forest holiday locations I have visited the only issues I have are that everything is extra!"

It always feels like I have to pay to get anything. You don't even get a small welcome pack of tea coffee and milk which these days seems a little strange. Unless I pay a rather large amount for an over the top welcome hamper.

  • "We love the hideaway - this is our 4th or 5th time."

It's still an outstanding lodge in a great location. It used to be a 10 out of 10 but I feel some of the small things have disappeared - no shower gel, shampoo or even the treats that used to be part of this holiday. They made you stand out and they've all been stripped away.

Over the years of holidaying with Forest Holidays on the occasions when we have experienced problems but these have always been dealt with promptly and to our satisfaction. A wonderful get away and back to nature.
